Anyway, here I am trying to learn a lot of new things. I just peed on a plant that was inside, but Mom didn't like it and took me outside right away, where I peed again. She seemed to like that, because she gave me a pat and a nice treat. By the way, did I mention that I love treats? I don't pee in the house anymore.
I have to say that one thing I really like about living here is that so many things are soft and comfortable, not at all what I am used to. There are so many wonderful places that I can lie down and rest -- the first couple of days all I did was sleep! It's also nice and quiet (Mom and Dad don't bark), and the food is pretty good too.
There are a couple of small people here that frighten me a bit, but I'm getting used to them. The first day I was here, the small male put his face too close to mine, and I just kind of snapped at it. I'm just not used to being made such a fuss over.
One other thing I really do like is the nice walks we go on. Mom and Dad are always taking me out around town to see and smell all these interesting things. I'm afraid of some things that I've never seen before, but I get braver each day. I used to pee and poop right on the road (after all, I am a Philly hound), but now I've discovered green grass, trees, and bushes, which are much nicer to do my business on!
I'm getting tired now so I think I'll take a nap on the big comfortable thing that sits in the sun. I'll be back later to tell you some more about my new home.
